Formal Powers: Holding trials of Impeachment, Conformation of Nominees, Treaties 2/3, Expulsion from Senate, Censure.
I know this because the Formal Powers are in the Constitution.
Informal Powers-Not specified in Constitution
Filibuster and Cloture, Investigations, Contested Senate Elections.
